According to TechFlow, on June 2nd, QCP Capital posted an analysis on their TG channel indicating that nearly 1 billion USD worth of positions in the cryptocurrency market have been liquidated since Friday. Even BlackRock's IBIT $BTC ETF ended its streak of 34 consecutive days of inflows, with an outflow of 430 million USD.
However, the Bitcoin market remains remarkably calm, hovering above 102 thousand USD despite high volatility, demonstrating its potential support level. Currently, Bitcoin's volatility is steadily compressing, and risk reversals across various maturities have begun to normalize, indicating that the market expects a relatively mild price movement in the short term. While some investors are fleeing, others are doubling down. For example, Strategy and Metaplanet are evidently undeterred, with Metaplanet purchasing an additional 114 million USD worth of $BTC after the market price dropped, bringing their total holdings to the symbolic 8,888 coins.
