Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has called for Bitcoin (BTC), $XRP, and other crypto communities to coexist peacefully to promote industry development. This call originated from Ripple's donation of the "Satoshi Skull" sculpture to the Bitcoin community, symbolizing the enduring vitality of blockchain technology. The sculpture is now permanently installed at the Nashville Bitcoin Museum. Garlinghouse hopes this gesture reminds crypto community members that despite holding different tokens, they share more common ground. Previously, Ripple CTO David Schwartz responded to Bitcoin maximalists' criticism of $XRP's centralization by emphasizing the decentralization of the $XRP ledger. Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen clarified that the company has not funded anti-Bitcoin activities and stated its support for using Bitcoin for environmental projects such as direct air capture.
