According to TechFlow, on May 28, the "Crypto in America" newsletter reported that the U.S. House leadership plans to introduce an updated version of the Digital Asset Market Structure Act during a "pro forma session" on Thursday, May 28, 2025. This bill is widely regarded as the foundational blueprint for regulating the $34 trillion U.S. cryptocurrency industry and will be formally submitted during the recess via procedural session.
Previously, the discussion draft of the bill was jointly released by Financial Services Committee Chair French Hill and other senior Republican lawmakers. The House Financial Services Committee will hold a hearing on the updated bill on June 4 and may conduct a markup on June 10.
