When will JAM fully launch? Which major milestones should you watch for? 👀

The graypaper is expected to finalize next quarter, and then testnets may launch within six months—maybe even mainnet! But now, some developers have already shared binaries of clients capable of running partial testnets.

One major milestone to watch for is the CoreChain Service. Without services running on JAM, it’s like having a relaychain without parachains — so this CoreChain Service will essentially function as a parachain service, enabling them to run on JAM. This will be a key milestone to keep an eye on.

Of course, once the groundwork is laid, ecosystem developers can also use the JAM SDK to build additional services and run various decentralized applications!
