$Huma Finance is a PayFi protocol that provides structured settlement liquidity, suitable for scenarios such as cross-border payments and credit card settlements. By connecting liquidity providers and borrowers through blockchain infrastructure, $Huma offers an alternative solution for capital-intensive systems with settlement delays.
The protocol operates two products: $Huma Institutional (a permissioned platform for accredited participants) and $Huma 2.0 (a permissionless service for retail investors). Since the launch of $Huma 2.0 on April 9, 53,400 depositors have supplied the protocol with 50 million USDC. To date, $Huma has issued 2.30 billion in credit, with a total transaction volume of 4.50 billion, supporting 12 active lending pools on Solana, Stellar, and EVM-compatible chains. $Huma has secured 46 million in funding and merged with Arf in 2024, expanding its role as a PayFi financing layer.
