It seems like $VIRGEN can only wait for the CTO. There are many chance factors involved in making this thing successful.

As the airdrop is distributed, it will gradually be dumped. After all, it's generally the airdropped portion, and they have to invest after the opening. Quite a bit has been invested.

So, the best strategy for those who participated in the presale seems to be to sell first at the opening, otherwise the volume from the airdrop will be hard to withstand.

I might consider buying the dip after the airdrop dumping is almost over.

Also, it seems Vader vaguely hinted that Virtual might launch a Layer 1 in the future. This is worth noting.

Final Thoughts & Updates on $VIRGEN:

1. I am not the DEV, just the idea guy. I didn’t even create an X account for $VIRGEN on purpose because I will not be running this project.

The tokenomics is designed for decentralization to make sure all community members have skin in the game - I expect some volunteer community members to step up and run it.

2. $VIRGEN is a PURE memecoin with 0 utility. It is a marketing initiative to convert more degens to VIRGENITY.

Thanks to the “VIRGEN” word being a term for Virtuals community members and Virtuals points, it organically benefits from the rapid growth of Virtuals mindshare and Genesis success.

And it is positioned as THE memecoin in case Virtuals launches its own Layer 1.

3. Since there are 100% TGE unlocks, there will be no jeet jail or any other punishments for selling (afaik).

Additionally, we will be airdropping the remaining 49.5% of token supply on TGE  - as you know with airdrops, a good portion of recipients tend to sell.

So there will likely be significant sell pressure from Genesis participants that are in it for a quick flip and airdrops recipients who don’t believe in $VIRGEN.

This is good for the long-term health of the token as non-believers leave early, allowing believers to accumulate at lower price levels.

However don’t be surprised if you see a highly volatile chart with large red candles in the first few hours and days. Not every token that goes down is a scam or a rug. Besides no individual or group has enough tokens to rug.

4. Virtuals Protocol has no official affiliation with $VIRGEN – this was completely my idea. They didn’t want to get involved in token transfers or holding the admin key either.

We will be sending the airdrops to the corresponding wallets after TGE today, I will burn the 0.5% dev tokens as they get vested and use trading fees to buyback the token on Uniswap and burn.

As some of the volunteer community members step up and take ownership, I plan to transfer the admin to them with the approval of the community. Everything is onchain anyways – so nothing to hide.
