Catchers 🦾!
As promised, our full focus is now shifting to #SpaceCatch AR, to ensure everything is ready for the public launch of the full game! This week, the second round of playtesting the updated combat system took place, and the feedback was twice as positive as the last time. This clearly shows that we are on the right path toward a successful game launch.
In addition, we're actively working on new #NFT items for the game along with the integration and utility for the $CATCH #token. We'll start releasing details gradually over the coming weeks. Our goal is to achieve a high-quality gameplay experience, with the game focused primarily on playing, not just passive $CATCH generation through inflation. Only real players will be able to earn great #rewards in-game! For those mainly expecting passive income from holding the $CATCH token, we are also preparing various benefits!
We are proud that we are steadily advancing toward the milestone of launching 2 full games within just 15 months after #TGE. While it might feel like a long time — the statistics speak for themselves. Around 86% of all #GameFi/Gaming tokens have dropped to zero, with most projects ending as scams or slow rugs. It’s also a fact that even projects that survived the 2021 boom still, for the most part, haven’t released their full versions even after 4 years. Out of hundreds of gaming projects, fewer than 20 have a complete and polished product. We’re proud to say that SpaceCatch will soon join that elite group!

SC:AR: Added a scaling tween animation to throwable objects when they are held to be thrown
SC:AR: Update the rewards screen for better visual clarity
SC:AR: Add voice-over to go with text shown on screen during the Tutorial
SC:AR: Enhance the backend infrastructure to address occasional timeouts caused by unstable internet connections or slow backend responses (will fix many non-responsive bugs, available to test on Friday)
SC:AR: Fixed typos found in in-game text (T&Cs and PP)

SC:C: Updated lootbox purchase options from buying using $CATCH tokens to Genesis Box Staking Points and Catch-X (in-game currency)
SC:C: Updated the Shop to allow users to buy Catch-X (in-game currency) Packs using $CATCH tokens (ready for testing on Friday)
SC:C: Web - Removed the discount feature
