According to TechFlow, on May 18, Crypto.news reported that in the past week, NFT sales volume increased by 17.16% to 130.70 million USD, the number of buyers rose by 138.96% to 259,264, sellers grew by 98.69% to 137,347, while the number of transactions slightly decreased by 1.14% to 1,498,668.
Ethereum remains the dominant blockchain for NFTs, with sales reaching 41.30 million USD, a week-on-week increase of 21.47%. The Bitcoin chain jumped to second place with sales of 22.60 million USD, up 53.53%. Polygon dropped to third place with sales of 14.50 million USD, down 22.85%. Mythos Chain ranks fourth with a transaction volume of 13.30 million USD, and Solana ranks fifth with 8.90 million USD in sales, an increase of 17.31%.
Among NFT series rankings, Courtyard on Polygon remains in first place despite a 31.02% drop in sales to 11.70 million USD. Bitcoin's BRC-20 NFTs climbed to third place with sales of 7.10 million USD, an increase of 107.81%. CryptoPunks rose to fourth place with sales of 7 million USD, up 97.09%. The new series XSY Deposit on Avalanche entered the rankings at fifth place for the first time, with sales of 6.80 million USD and a remarkable growth rate of 469.59%.
High-value NFT sales this week include: Known Origin #30101 sold for 410,532 USD, CryptoPunks #3281 sold for 148 $ETH (approximately 384,286 USD), and CryptoPunks #1507 sold for 80 $ETH (approximately 204,711 USD).
