According to TechFlow, on May 15, CoinDesk reported that Nathan McCauley, CEO of federally chartered crypto bank Anchorage Digital, denied reports that the company is under investigation by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) at the Consensus 2025 conference held in Toronto.
McCauley stated that the company has tasked its legal team to investigate the related allegations, and the results confirmed that these reports are not true. Previously, some business media reported that the Eldorado Task Force under DHS was investigating the company’s operational practices and policies by contacting former employees.
