Bitget Improves Network Infrastructure in Remote Areas of the Philippines Through the Starlink Project

Bitget announced the improvement of network infrastructure in remote areas of the Philippines through the Starlink project. The first coverage points include Espoir School of Life on Siargao Island and Barangay Pitogo. The program introduces Starlink satellite equipment, providing the local area with six months of free high-speed internet, aiming to address the issues of insufficient educational resources and poor communication. In the future, Bitget will also provide skill training and resource support to local students and women's cooperatives through the "Blockchain4Youth" and "Blockchain4Her" projects. Previously, due to limited infrastructure, local residents mainly relied on microwave radio frequency communication, which was frequently interrupted and slow, making it difficult to meet basic needs such as online learning and telemedicine. Satellite network access will improve these issues and provide more stable information services.
