Circle announced that $USDC has officially launched on Sonic Labs and will complete the upgrade from the bridged version to the native version by May 2025, with no additional action required from users.

Before the upgrade, the supply of Bridged $USDC on Sonic had increased to 500 million USD. After the upgrade, CCTP V2 will be simultaneously launched, supporting near-instant cross-chain $USDC transfers and enabling automated operations through Hooks.
