Xiao Feng once told Vitalik: If you come to China and get arrested, I'll go to jail with you.

According to TechFlow on May 13, and the Wanwu Island ThreeDAO official account, Wanxiang Blockchain founder Xiao Feng privately suggested to Vitalik that the Ethereum Foundation set up an office in Hong Kong.

Xiao Feng pointed out that blockchain developers are mainly concentrated in the English-speaking and Chinese-speaking worlds, and losing the Chinese market means losing an important global developer resource. Vitalik stated that the Ethereum Foundation's development team in Berlin mainly focuses on underlying technology work, and the foundational Ethereum technology has now matured, with only optimization space remaining.

Xiao Feng said he half-jokingly told Vitalik, "We have the 11th Blockchain Conference in Shanghai in October; if you get arrested when you come, I'll go to jail with you." He then clarified that this was just a joke and stated that, in fact, China's technical departments, government agencies, and developer communities respect Ethereum technology, suggesting that the Foundation should not stay away from the Chinese market.
