Payment platform Banxa has obtained KYB certification from $Pi Network, authorizing it to sell $Pi coins globally. This move will promote the adoption of $Pi coins, allowing users in over 100 countries to purchase $Pi coins with cash through the Banxa platform. Banxa has joined top crypto exchanges that have received $Pi Network KYB certification, such as MEXC and Bitget. BitMart and HTX are also expected to obtain certification within the next 10 days. Only companies with KYB certification are legally permitted to use and trade $Pi coins, which is significant for the $Pi Network community and the price of $Pi coins. $Pi Network has consistently prioritized security and trust, ensuring all users and businesses undergo KYC/KYB verification. The $Pi project emphasizes five pillars: financial inclusion, interoperability, identity verification, monetary programmability, and decentralized financial systems. The $Pi blockchain is based on the Stellar consensus protocol, and OKX is the first centralized exchange to receive $Pi Network KYB certification. Following Banxa's certification, activation of the $Pi Network mainnet wallet has sparked speculation about $Pi coins potentially being listed on Binance, which, if realized, would greatly enhance the coin's popularity.
