Kraken has completed the acquisition of futures trading platform NinjaTrader. NinjaTrader is a futures broker registered with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). This acquisition enables Kraken to provide its U.S. customers with access to traditional derivatives markets. Kraken's first-quarter revenue increased by 19% year-over-year, reaching 471.70 million USD. Analysts believe that this acquisition aligns with Kraken's strategic plan to expand its product range and become the preferred platform for multiple types of trading. It is reported to be the largest deal to date between cryptocurrency and traditional financial companies.
