1. Metaplanet, a publicly traded Japanese company, has established a U.S. subsidiary in Florida with $250 million in registered capital that will focus on bitcoin funding operations.
2. According to Lookonchain, BlackRock's bitcoin spot ETF IBIT has added 25,430 $BTC worth $2.37 billion in the past seven days, bringing its total position to 601,209 $BTC worth $56.11 billion.
3. CZ spoke today at the TOKEN2049 stage in Dubai on "Progress on the Global Strategic Reserve of Cryptocurrencies" and "is advising a number of countries outside of Europe on how to build up their cryptocurrency reserves, just like the United States."
4. Mike Novogratz, CEO of digital asset firm Galaxy Digital, posted that Galaxy plans to list on the Nasdaq on May 16, pending approval at a May 9 special shareholders meeting.
