He has invested multiple times in the Bitwise Bitcoin Spot ETF, with a total investment amount close to 1 million USD. In March alone, his investment ranged between 310 thousand and 700 thousand USD, and his disclosed holdings in February were 450 thousand USD. Additionally, a few days before Trump signed the executive order exploring a "Strategic Bitcoin Reserve," McCormick purchased Bitwise Bitcoin ETF shares worth between 65 thousand and 150 thousand USD. McCormick also disclosed selling Goldman Sachs stocks valued between 1 million and 5 million USD. Montana Senator Steve Daines previously held various cryptocurrency ETFs but has now sold all of them. Georgia Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene purchased shares of the iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF before Trump announced the "Bitcoin Strategic Reserve" plan. Justin Sun, an advisor to the Trump family’s World Liberty Financial, claims to be the largest shareholder of the Valkyrie fund.
