According to TechFlow, on April 24, CoinDesk reported that Celyn Armstrong, Chief Legal Officer and Head of Compliance at cryptocurrency market maker Portofino Technology, has left the company.
It is reported that before joining Portofino, Armstrong worked at law firms such as Dentons and Linklaters, and served at the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) for over six years. The Swiss company announced last month that it is considering opening new offices in New York and Singapore. According to reports, Portofino was founded in 2021 by two former Citadel Securities executives, Leonard Lancia and Alex Casimo, and completed an equity financing round of 50 million USD at the end of 2022.
