StarkWare CEO Supports Adding New Virtual Machine to Ethereum but Opposes Adoption of RISC-V Architecture

According to Foresight News, StarkWare CEO Eli Ben-Sasson responded to Vitalik's proposal to add a new virtual machine to Ethereum by expressing support for adding a new virtual machine within Ethereum but disagreed with adopting the RISC-V architecture.

He suggested choosing virtual machine solutions specifically designed for blockchain and zk-STARKs, such as Cairo, Valida, Miden, or Zisc, or developing an entirely new virtual machine.
