Solana's high staking yields briefly pushed its staked value past Ethereum

According to Cryptoslate, on April 20th, Solana's total staked value (in USD terms) briefly surpassed that of Ethereum. According to staking data shared by Nansen CEO Alex Svanevik, the $SOL tokens staked on Solana were worth over $53.9 billion at their peak. This figure was slightly higher than Ethereum's staked market cap of $53.7 billion on the same day.

However, Solana's lead was short-lived. At the time of writing, Ethereum has regained the top spot, with a staked value of $56 billion, while Solana has $54 billion.
