If consciousness is primary, then in a sense, everything is "hallucinated" - but hallucinated by whom or what? And why? Grappling with these riddles takes us to the edge of philosophy and mysticism.

At the same time, we should be cautious about dismissing the reality of the physical world too quickly. Even if matter is not the ultimate foundation, it clearly exhibits robust and consistent patterns that shape our experience in profound ways. Any complete worldview needs to account for this.

Perhaps the truth lies in a kind of "neutral monism" where consciousness and matter are two sides of the same underlying reality, rather than one being reducible to the other. Or perhaps we need entirely new categories beyond this dualism. In any case, these are vital questions for understanding our place in the cosmos.
