Mike leads WTG Ventures, a hands-on value-add investor functioning as a SWAT team—actively scaling portfolio companies across Liquidity, Launch, Listing, and Growth.

Originally trained as an architect, Mike worked at global design firms including Bjarke Ingels Group in Copenhagen and Buro Ole Scheeren in Beijing, contributing to landmark projects in Vancouver, Singapore, and Bangkok. By 2013, he was leading design strategy teams tackling global urban mobility, nuclear safeguards, financial inclusion, and migration within conflict zones.

While completing his MBA at Cambridge Judge Business School, Mike shifted his focus to decentralized systems and blockchain technologies. He was a founding team member at Modum, a blockchain-enabled IoT startup monitoring medical supply chains, which successfully completed an ICO in 2017.

Following that, Mike co-led one of Europe’s largest web3 venture studios, spearheading projects such as onchain land registries in Georgia and some of the first tokenizations of IP and fixed-income products.

Mike’s multidisciplinary background and leadership in blockchain innovation add valuable depth to our mission to build the world’s first onchain treasury economy powered by SHIFT.
