The biggest barrier to entry in Web3 today isn't regulation, scalability, or even awareness. It's simply the fact that it often remains a poor user experience (UX).
Improving UX means tackling two major issues:
1⃣ Complexity: Despite all of the advances made since the early days, crypto remains a daunting prospect for newcomers. Until we can rival the UX of traditional Web2 services, true adoption of blockchain services will remain out of the hands of many casual users.
2⃣ Trust: Many existing solutions designed to simplify UX rely too heavily on opaque off-chain processes in order to function, hampering decentralization and reducing trust.
This should help to explain part of the reason why we created Reactive Network in the first place.
Reactive Smart Contracts offer the opportunity to automate many different processes which would've previously relied on end-user input. However, unlike most existing automation solutions, the entire process takes place on-chain in a transparent and decentralized manner.
Reactive Ecosystem Lead @emiiway_ describes just one example of how RSCs can be used to reduce dApp complexity without sacrificing a trustless experience. 👇
