According to @gavofyork and detailed by @alexdimes7, the upcoming @Polkadot Hub is scheduled to launch in a couple of months. It will be an Ethereum-compatible smart contract platform on Polkadot L1.

The aim?

To tackle issues like high entry barriers and limited developer tooling by offering liquidity solutions, familiar tools, and Solidity/YUL compatibility through the Polkadot Virtual Machine.
