Bitdeer announced the acquisition of a local partner company in Ethiopia that holds a mining license for $7.50 million and plans to build a 50-megawatt Bitcoin mining farm, expected to be operational in the fourth quarter of this year. The project has signed a four-year power purchase agreement with the Ethiopian Electric Power Company, with an electricity price of approximately $0.036 per kilowatt-hour.
