According to Deep Tide TechFlow, on April 7, the 2025 Hong Kong Web3 Carnival Co-organizer CKB Eco Fund successfully held the themed forum "The Light of Bitcoin: The Eternal Legend of Digital Gold" in partnership with the event organizers. This is the only official forum during the Hong Kong Web3 Carnival focused solely on Bitcoin, with over 20 leading institutions in the Bitcoin ecosystem, including Nervos Foundation, Lightning Labs, Bitmain, and Stacks Foundation, gathering to discuss the technological pathways and application prospects of Digital Gold 2.0, covering technical protocols, financial infrastructure, and cultural consensus.
During the event, CKB launched the new Rock Web5 initiative. The Rock Web5 initiative aims to promote globalization through activities such as hackathons, integrating technology with the industrial characteristics and cultural backgrounds of different regions offline.
At the same time, Fubo and Guoren Xiangjian showcased their relevant development plans, while projects such as SeeDAO, Nervape, Rivtower, and HKbitEX explored the application and investment trends of Web5 together.
Additionally, during the conference, CKB Fiber Network released version 0.5, laying the foundation for future compatibility upgrades, marking solid progress in the vision for CKB Web5 development.
