According to TechFlow news on March 29, the official announcement states that the number of users of the energy DePIN network Starpower has recently surpassed 100 thousand. It has partnered with Apple and Google Home to create a unique reverse access solution for home power devices: users can now directly integrate smart home devices (such as smart lights, air conditioners, sockets, cameras, etc.) into the Starpower network without relying on Starpower-authorized hardware, becoming certified "energy nodes" and earning $STAR rewards. This not only enables large-scale access to home energy devices but also lowers the threshold for ordinary users to participate in the Web3 energy network.
Starpower indicated that the next step will gradually open integration with other smart home ecosystems (such as Amazon Alexa and Tuya), while also using AI to analyze electricity usage behavior and achieve more accurate device identification and scheduling capabilities.
Darcy, co-founder of Starpower, stated, "We are connecting the future energy internet with the devices around you."
It is reported that Starpower is the energy DePIN project with the largest user base globally, with a vision to build a global, user-driven virtual power plant (VPP) network. Each connected device can participate in energy consumption data collection, response scheduling, supply-demand adjustment services, and earn $STAR incentives. By linking Web2 and Web3 with pioneering technology, it aims to promote the Web3 energy network with higher efficiency, lower costs, and broader coverage. Previously, Starpower completed a $5 million financing round, with investors including Alliance DAO, Framework Ventures, and Solana Ventures, and has collaborated with top global new energy equipment manufacturers to release devices covering power generation, energy storage, and consumption scenarios.
