Amber Group is expected to obtain a virtual asset trading platform operator license in Hong Kong.

According to Zhitong Finance, Wayne Huo, co-founder of Amber Group and CEO of Amber Premium, stated that Amber Group is applying for a Virtual Asset Trading Platform Operator License (VATP) from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission and expects to receive approval. The company will expand its institutional payment and liquidity solutions, providing compliant digital asset payment infrastructure to support real-time trading of cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies.
