Little Seal has prepared a text version of the key information packed with insights for $seal and the family at @Oneness_Labs regarding this Space:
1. Introduction to Oneness & Sparkfest 1/2
Oneness_Labs is a modular game intention layer that aims to embed modular components into existing Web2 games, achieving high-frequency, high-reach conversion of traditional game players numbering in the hundreds of millions, bringing Web2 game users, revenue, and IP into the Web3 mapping. Through discussions with giants of Web2 gaming, Oneness discovered that many traditional manufacturers hope for the sustained value of their IP and have proposed whether it is possible to bind IP with transactions; at the same time, they hold an accepting attitude towards Web3 and have proposed many integration plans from a traditional perspective, which has brought a lot of inspiration to Oneness’s design.
Sparkfest 1 is a preheating event for Oneness, where users can earn points by verifying assets (including top assets of Ordinal, Brc20, Arc20, and RGB++ protocols), holding Genesis NFTs, participating in community building, and completing social tasks. The entire event achieved over 3 million exposures, with over 100,000 user participants, establishing partnerships with over 200 projects and 500+ KOLs.
Sparkfest 2 is an event that showcases game attributes and completes the release of game assets. It is both a social strategy game and a points activity. The game format references national games and battle royale, featuring five factions where players can choose their faction to participate in Bet and Kill to earn rewards. During the game, DC users will receive different character identities and can use their influence to rally players, creating a game-theoretic effect to enhance the enjoyment of the game.
2. Onss and Gamebox
Onss points can be earned for future token airdrops and will be mapped as primary energy fragments for participation in Sparkfest 2. The asset system of Sparkfest 2 consists of five levels of energy fragments. Onss can be exchanged for primary fragments, which serve as the raw materials for participating in the bet/kill gameplay; secondary and tertiary fragments are synthesis materials with no other special uses; fourth-level fragments are NFTs that can be staked to mine primary fragments; fifth-level fragments are also NFTs that cannot be staked but can be used to synthesize Gamebox. The Gamebox can be used to mine tokens later, acting as the golden shovel of tokens, while the Genesis NFT Onespark can participate in various asset airdrops, serving as the golden shovel of the Oneness ecosystem (for example, Onespark holders will receive Gamebox airdrops).
Moreover, regardless of the level of fragments synthesized, participants will receive NFTs or Onss after the event ends; just participating guarantees rewards.
Improvements to the Points System: Points will be allocated more to users participating in the game, ensuring fairness in Sparkfest 2. Phase two can continue to verify assets (such as seal & nervape), but there will be limits set on asset verification, and there will be more ways to earn points focused on community activities.
3. How to view Gamefi?
Alex believes that games and finance may correspond to different games and groups of people, and investors can be relatively distinguished from players, rather than being bound together by traditional thinking. The play-to-earn mechanism can involve playing Web3 games or Web2 games, and the play can be separated from earn, allowing players to earn on Web3 through intention layers like Oneness while playing traditional games.
4. RGB++ & Oneness_Labs
In the Space, many discussed the commonalities in values between the RGB++ ecosystem and Oneness. For example, @Nervapes has created the most unique blockchain-native IP, consolidating community power through concepts and ideas, while Oneness similarly hopes to empower high-value Web2 IP into Web3, further exploring IP value; @unicorn_dobs's design of the yin-yang five elements concept loot has attracted various community project parties for cultural creation, bringing together like-minded individuals, and Oneness has also gathered builders from different backgrounds to build a project together; @WORLD3_CN, one of Oneness's partners (and a little secret, seal played a tiny role in this), has a unique understanding of Gamefi; @DOBcuprush's product thinking aligns with Oneness to some extent, not seeking to be the gold digger in the gold rush but to be the one selling the shovels; @joy_protocol's Joyid wallet uses Passkey technology, aiming to provide Web2 users with a seamless Web3 experience, just like Oneness. Oneness has also established cooperative relationships with many projects in the Nervos and RGB++ ecosystem for technical discussions.
5. Future Prospects for Oneness
Oneness has found that many large companies are exploring how to participate in Web3 and are willing to contribute some top-level IP for collaboration. This has made Oneness realize that, compared to educating players, perhaps approaching it from the perspective of manufacturers and studios could better bring Web3 into traditional gaming. For the future integration of Web3, Oneness plans to use Web2 revenue to repurchase Web3 assets, using on-chain data to intuitively display the value of Web2 games, thus bypassing the traditional and relatively difficult route of going public to better demonstrate the value of games and IP.
Starting from the 22nd of this month, Oneness will hold three large AMAs weekly, discussing game development paths with successful Web3 manufacturers, exchanging Web3 values with Web2 game producers and representatives, and announcing more details and future development layouts of Sparkfest 2 and Gamebox, inviting everyone to understand, participate, and support.
