MoonPay has announced that it has obtained a Money Transmitter License (MTL) issued by the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions.

According to Cryptonews, the crypto payment platform MoonPay has announced that it has obtained a Money Transmitter License (MTL) issued by the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions, allowing it to expand its crypto services in the state. Wisconsin residents can purchase crypto assets through MoonPay Balance without any additional fees, further promoting the development of local digital payments. Currently, MoonPay has obtained MTL in 46 states across the United States and acquired the Solana blockchain payment processor Helio for $175 million in January this year. Recently, it also obtained MiCA approval from the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets.
