In this bull market, "celebrity token issuance" has become a norm in the crypto world. 📄 TimeFun Token Mechanism

TimeFun is a platform that combines "purchasing celebrity time" with token issuance. This means you can buy time with this celebrity, and the price of this "time" will be determined by market mechanisms, being freely bought and sold in token form.

🔸 Similar to the well-known launch platform Pumpfun, TimeFun also has internal and external markets. The internal market of the platform sells according to the Bonding Curve, and after reaching a liquidity threshold, liquidity will be transferred to Raydium.

🔸 Additionally, each token represents the price for a "1-minute conversation" with the celebrity. When each celebrity issues tokens, the default issuance quantity is 100,000 minutes, which means 100 thousand tokens.

"Assuming the token Toly by Solana founder @aeyakovenko is priced at $100 per token, this means that a 1-minute conversation with Toly will cost $100. According to my observations, after the conversation, the total supply of the token will continue to decrease. In other words, the token will show a continuous deflationary trend."

🔸 Moreover, TimeFun token issuance requires community real-name verification and must obtain a market code from TimeFun to issue tokens, significantly reducing the possibility of "imposter token issuance" through these two verification steps.

💡 TimeFun Feature Introduction

Since TimeFun just officially launched yesterday, many features are still in an inactive state. However, I will still introduce the main functionalities of TimeFun, which mainly revolve around celebrities, including:

✅ Direct 1:1 messaging with celebrities: Users can have one-on-one message conversations with celebrities, but each minute costs 1 token from the issuer.

✅ Group chat (with token threshold): Buyers can enter the group chat if they hold a sufficient number of tokens as set by the issuer.

✅ Voice call (not yet available): TimeFun will arrange voice meetings after user requests, calculated by the minute, with prices set by the issuer.

✅ Video call (not yet available): TimeFun will arrange video meetings after user requests, calculated by the minute, with prices set by the issuer.

The first two functionalities are already available, while voice and video calling features may need to wait for future updates to be activated.

How to Get Started?

As for how users can participate, you can refer to the following steps:

Step 1: Register an account using your email → Receive a verification code → Create a username

Step 2: Deposit $USDC

Next, we need to deposit USDC. Click on "Deposit funds" in your profile at the top right. TimeFun offers three deposit methods: "Debit Card," "Apple Pay," and "Crypto." Since there are many users in the crypto space, I chose the "Crypto" deposit method.

After clicking on "Crypto," users will see the $USDC deposit address. Users only need to copy the address and transfer the desired amount of USDC. It is important to note that the transfer needs to be done on the Solana blockchain; make sure not to transfer on the wrong chain.

Step 3: Purchase Tokens

After depositing $USDC, users can purchase their desired celebrity tokens on TimeFun. However, since the platform has just been officially launched, the number of celebrities listed is still limited, and the platform will regularly add more celebrity time tokens.

Taking Toly as an example, it currently costs $77.45 to buy 1 minute (1 token) of Toly's time, and you can select the amount of time you wish to purchase from the right-hand column. If you want to sell time, you can click "Sell" to proceed with the sale.

🎁 Is TimeFun Worth the Investment?

Although TimeFun is a new launching platform and the "celebrity time market" innovation mechanism has not yet gained recognition from market investors, it is undeniable that users can realize interactions with celebrities through purchasing tokens, which addresses the current issue of insufficient empowerment of "celebrity tokens."

Additionally, from the attitude of the Solana team, they seem intent on promoting the TimeFun platform. The two co-founders of Solana, Toly (@aeyakovenko) and Raj (@rajgokal), have both issued tokens in the past few days, and several other members of the Solana team have also issued tokens. This undoubtedly indicates strong support for TimeFun, as issuing tokens requires time and communication with buyers, which can be quite costly in terms of time.

Furthermore, Toly has mentioned TimeFun multiple times in recent tweets, which can be considered a luxury treatment compared to other new projects.

Although the current "celebrity time market" mechanism has not been widely accepted by market users, if the Solana team continues to support it and opens up more celebrity tokens and features in the future, I believe the market may see another wave of celebrity token frenzy.
