Founded PoT: Q2 2019

The Very Beginning:
"Hmmm," he reflected. "It was exciting but lonely. I spent eight months working on Proof of Talent alone -- no professional companions to consult, no morning meetings, and no strategy partners; it was just me...

... My head was down, and I was 100% committed. I had invested copious amounts of time, energy, and capital into it. I mean, I wasn't getting paid or anything. Success was the only option for Proof of Talent. Plan A had to work.

... Hiring @stack__sats was a huge milestone for me. It legitimized Proof of Talent as a viable business. I felt like it signaled the start of something monumental. Turns out, it did."

Favorite Memory:
"Cashing the check from the first placement I ever made." He continued, "I had a moment where it dawned on me that I founded, owned, and was now operating an actual business. That was a very grounding but exciting feeling."

PoT Experience in One Word:
“Perseverant." He added, "We're grateful for our success, but we've also had our share of trying times. A common theme throughout it all is remaining steadfast. Things don't tend to come easily in crypto, and resilience allows us to continue driving forward. We get after it, regardless."

PoT Culture in One Word:
"Cryptonative." He continued, "We're all from different places, went to different schools, have different backgrounds, whatever. The common denominator is our shared passion for crypto...

... We all have bags, make plays, and weather the market's ups and downs like anyone else. That, in part, is what makes us so good at this. Work aside, all of us are involved in the market and have been for years. Crypto is not just our job; it's a part of our lifestyle."

If He Could Rewind:
When asked if Rob would do anything differently, he chuckled. He followed, "Would I have sold more of my bags at the end of 2021? Yes. As far as Proof of Talent goes, no. It's one of the best things I've ever done. I'm super thankful for you all."
