🥁 Introducing the new @StableJack_xyz aUSD stablecoin vault.
Yield Yak's aUSD vault turns $aUSD into a truly yield-bearing asset as it automatically claims $sAVAX rewards and compounds them into more aUSD.
What is aUSD?
aUSD is a fully collateralised stablecoin (backed 1:1 by @BenqiFinance sAVAX). It's also yield-bearing via receiving the liquid staking yield in the form of sAVAX rewards.
Wait but how does that work?
Holders of Stable Jack's sister $xAVAX token forgo their liquid staking yield in order to access a leveraged $AVAX position. This is made possible because in order to mint xAVAX, users must put up sAVAX collateral (whose yields gets sent to aUSD holders).
How do I get some aUSD?
Swap into aUSD on Yield Yak to get the best price, or you can go and mint some directly on Stable Jack using sAVAX, AVAX, $USDC, or $USDT.
What kind of yield are we talking about here?
To date, aUSD has been generating between 15 to 20% APY🔥. Yields fluctuate in the short-term based on sAVAX/AVAX exchange rate fluctuations, but have shown to be stable looking over a long period.
To find the vault, search for aUSD or filter by 'StableJack' from the Platform dropdown.
