Genesis payout whale sells 40,000 $ETH (approximately $89.20 million) in the past two days

According to @EmberCN, the whale that received the most $ETH in the Genesis Trading liquidation payout last August has recently sold 40,000 $ETH (approximately $89.20 million) through an OTC broker in the past two days.

In these two days, the whale transferred 30,000 $ETH to Galaxy Digital and 10,000 $ETH to FalconX. It then received $20 million in $USDC from Galaxy Digital and $19.49 million in $USDC from FalconX.

It is understood that the $ETH held by this whale address originated from the liquidation payout of the bankrupt entity Genesis Trading in August last year, receiving 114.50 thousand $ETH (approximately $358 million), making it the address that received the most $ETH at that time.

The price of $ETH at the time of the payout was $3,128. However, the current price of $ETH has decreased by 30% compared to then, reducing the value of the 114.50 thousand $ETH received by $110 million.
