U.S. President Donald Trump plans to meet with business leaders on Tuesday to discuss tariffs and market uncertainty. This meeting will take place with members of the Business Roundtable based in Washington, including CEOs and Wall Street financial giants from across the nation. Although Trump’s early victories had sparked optimism in the banking sector, concerns have grown regarding the implementation of tariff policies and economic slowdown, deepening doubts about his policy path. Last week, Trump indicated that there might be an "adjustment period" after the tariffs take effect. The current chairman of the Business Roundtable is Chuck Robbins, CEO of Cisco Systems, and board members include Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase, and Jane Fraser, CEO of Citigroup.
