The program allows wealthy individuals to pay approximately 5 million USD (or pay in Bitcoin) to obtain residency in the United States. Bailey noted that many elites from emerging markets wish to relocate to the U.S. but face challenges with large fund transfers, and Bitcoin offers a simpler, safer, and more discreet solution. Trump's Gold Card program aims to attract wealthy individuals, including Russian oligarchs, to the United States.
