Sending cybersecurity tasks to distributed devices isn't simple. Unlike uptime monitoring, where minor failures don’t impact overall results, cybersecurity tasks—like security scans—demand precise execution. If one device fails mid-task, the entire process must restart.
🔹 From ORE Mining to Distributed Compute
Back in August 2024, UpRock tackled heavy distributed tasks with ORE Mining, which laid the foundation for advanced decentralized computation. While ORE Mining handled compute-heavy operations, the new distributed compute engine takes it a step further, ensuring real-time synchronization and high reliability for cybersecurity applications.

UpRock has now rolled out a fully consistent distributed compute network capable of running synchronized tasks at scale. This ensures tasks complete reliably and efficiently, solving key distributed system challenges in cybersecurity.
