Built on the foundation of Runes and inspired by the incredible work of Casey, Domo, and others, ALKANES marks the next experiment in Bitcoin’s evolution.

With ALKANES, developers can deploy trustless, fully on-chain applications using UTXOs and WebAssembly. It’s designed to enable programmable assets, tokenomics, and decentralized applications—all secured by Bitcoin.

ALKANES is open, permissionless, and built for flexibility. Its unopinionated design gives developers the freedom to define custom rules for distribution, tokenomics, onchain incentives, and decentralized applications
