1️⃣OKX Ventures and Aptos Foundation Jointly Launch Ecosystem Growth Fund and Accelerator to Boost Aptos Ecosystem Growth

On August 1, OKX Ventures (@OKX_Ventures) and Aptos Foundation (@Aptos), a global #blockchain leader, jointly announced the launch of a new USD $10 million fund aimed at supporting the growth of the Aptos ecosystem and widespread adoption of Web3.

The fund will be used to develop an accelerator program, operated in partnership with Ankaa (@AnkaaLabs) and intended to bolster the growth of quality projects and applications built on Aptos - a scalable Layer 1 Proof-of-Stake (PoS) blockchain that uses the Move programming language to make on-chain transactions more reliable, easier-to-use, and secure. The accelerator will provide selected #Aptos ecosystem projects with #venture support, focused mentorship, go-to-market exposure, and access to the extensive network of experts from our team, Ankaa and Aptos Foundation combined.

2️⃣Animoca Brands and LayerZero Labs Announce Strategic Partnership Positioning LayerZero as Default Interoperability Solution for Animoca Brands’ Ecosystem

Animoca Brands (@animocabrands), the company advancing digital property rights for gaming and the open metaverse, and LayerZero Labs (@LayerZero_Labs), the team that launched the leading omnichain interoperability #protocol #LayerZero, announced a multi-year strategic partnership to leverage Animoca Brands' extensive network and project portfolio to further broaden the reach of LayerZero’s interoperability solution across various use cases in the digital asset space, enhancing user and developer experiences in digital content, gaming, entertainment, and other blockchain-based ecosystems.

Under the strategic partnership, LayerZero will be the default choice of interoperability solution for projects of Animoca Brands and its subsidiaries. The Web3 gaming ecosystem Pixelverse (@pixelverse_xyz) announced that it has partnered with Jambo to provide blockchain gaming services to underserved regions. Pixelverse games will be accessible on JamboApp (@JamboTechnology) and will expand to 126 countries, with a primary focus on Africa and Southeast Asia.
