Foresight News reports that Namada, a privacy-focused Layer 1 blockchain, has announced the launch of its mainnet Phase 3, which now supports IBC asset transfers and shielding for $ATOM, $OSMO, and $TIA, with Stride LSTs to be supported later. Currently, the shielding feature is only available for the Namada Keychain Extension, with support for Ledger devices coming soon. Namada allows users to pay gas fees with any governance-supported tokens and protects on-chain data privacy through shielding. Phase 4 will introduce NAM rewards to encourage users to hold shielded assets.
