sBTC is a 1:1 Bitcoin-backed asset that offers approximately 5% annual yield and opportunities in DeFi on Stacks, all secured by Bitcoin’s hash power and comprehensive audits. This phase aims to enhance Bitcoin liquidity, with plans for a fully decentralized system expected later in 2025.
