Odaily Planet Daily reported that Simon Gerovich, CEO of the Japanese listed company Metaplanet, posted on X stating that the company spent approximately $6.60 million to acquire 68.59 $BTC at an average price of about $96,335, achieving an 18% $BTC yield as of February 20, 2025. As of that date, Metaplanet holds 2,100 $BTC, with a purchase price of approximately $169.90 million and an average price of about $80,905.

In response, Michael Saylor, founder of Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), commented: "One Basis Point of Bitcoin."
