Bitwise announced a donation of 150 thousand dollars to Bitcoin open-source developers.

According to Deep Tide TechFlow, on February 18, cryptocurrency asset management company Bitwise announced on the X platform that it will donate 150 thousand USD to Bitcoin open-source developers. This is the company's first annual donation fulfilling its commitment made during the listing of its Bitcoin ETF ($BITB), amounting to 10% of the ETF's total profits.

The funds will be distributed among three nonprofit organizations: Bitcoin Brink, OpenSats, and the Human Rights Foundation (HRF). Bitwise stated that as the scale of BITB grows, future donation amounts will also increase accordingly.
