Odaily Planet Daily reported that Ben Chow, co-founder of Meteora, responded again on X to questions regarding LIBRA.
Ben Chow stated: "Meteora and I have never privately received or managed any tokens, nor have we participated in any off-chain transactions. We maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding the launch of any tokens on the platform. For confidentiality reasons, only a very small number of people within Meteora have access to launch information. Typically, I am the only one who knows the launch time, and the token/pool addresses are only provided to me and one or two on-duty engineers (if any) just minutes before the launch."
"The complexity of DLMM means that non-crypto-native users (such as celebrities, politicians, etc.) usually need to hire deployers and/or market makers when they want to launch tokens. We do not provide these services, but issuers often seek my recommendations for deployers and/or market makers. Hayden Davis from Kelsier Ventures is one of the deployers/market makers I have recommended to projects in the past few months. We have no special relationship with Kelsier; we just collaborated during the launch of M3M3 years ago. During that collaboration, they proved to be trustworthy, so I recommended them to some projects, including the team behind MELANIA. Like other projects, our role is limited to technical support, and we have not purchased, received, or managed any tokens related to MELANIA."
"Regarding LIBRA, although we learned about its possibility through Hayden a few weeks ago, we have not participated in the project other than providing IT support. Neither I nor the Meteora team has compromised the launch of LIBRA by leaking information, nor have we purchased, received, or managed any tokens."
