Over the weekend, the transaction cost difference between Ethereum L1 and Solana hit a historic low, with a gap of just $0.28 at one point.

According to Deep Tide TechFlow, on February 17, Coinbase executive Conor Grogan disclosed that the average transaction cost on the Ethereum Layer 1 network (L1) has reached its closest historical level to the average transaction cost on Solana this weekend. On February 15, 2025, at 7 AM, the difference between the two was only $0.28. Notably, during the turmoil of the Libra project, there were multiple instances where the cost of token swaps on Solana was higher than that on the Ethereum Layer 1 network.
