Odaily Planet Daily News - According to U.S. media reports, chip manufacturing giant TSMC may take over the chip manufacturing business of American company Intel. Reports indicate that, according to informed sources, Intel's board began discussions with TSMC at the end of last year to explore potential cooperation in response to its deteriorating business conditions. Negotiations are in the early stages, and the form of cooperation has yet to be determined. TSMC may hold a majority stake in Intel's chip manufacturing business along with other investors.
