According to Deep Tide TechFlow, the privacy-preserving computing network Nillion has announced a partnership with the Bahrain telecommunications operator stc Bahrain. This collaboration marks a deep integration of Nillion's blind computation privacy technology into real-world Web2 scenarios, aimed at promoting the development of privacy solutions in the Middle East.
In the first phase of the collaboration, stc Bahrain will deploy nodes on Nillion's blind computation network PETnet. As a decentralized privacy platform, PETnet aims to utilize advanced privacy-enhancing technologies such as multi-party computation to ensure secure data storage and processing of private data. As the first telecommunications partner to operate a node on the Nillion network, stc Bahrain will not only enhance the decentralization and security of PETnet.
Meanwhile, Nillion will join the stc Bahrain Web3 Launchpad program as a Pearling Path partner. stc Bahrain will leverage Nillion's blind computation network to develop scalable application cases. By combining Nillion's advanced secure computing solutions with stc Bahrain's robust telecommunications infrastructure and Bahrain's data embassy laws, Nillion aims to set new standards for the management and protection of high-value data for global users in various Web2 application scenarios beyond the Web3 context.
It is reported that Nillion, as the first decentralized blind computation network, was founded by former Uber founding engineer Conrad Whelan. It is dedicated to enabling the storage, transmission, and processing of high-value sensitive data in an encrypted state throughout the entire process. Through its innovative Orchestration Layer, Nada language compiler, and dual-layer network architecture design, Nillion supports developers in easily building privacy applications without needing to understand privacy-enhancing technology (PET), while also maintaining decentralization. This empowers the development of the privacy application ecosystem, providing strong support for data application ecosystems, including AI, data markets, privacy DeFi, and healthcare analytics.
