Circle Acquires Hashnote and USYC Fund, Partners with Cumberland to Expand RWA Initiatives

Circle has acquired Hashnote, gaining control of the USYC tokenized money market fund valued at over $1.25 billion. In collaboration with Cumberland, Circle plans to enhance the adoption of $USDC and USYC in both cryptocurrency and traditional financial markets. This partnership aims to provide yield-bearing collateral opportunities, expanding Circle's reach in the realm of real-world assets (RWA).
