According to a report by TheMinerMag on January 20, Mintvest Capital's submitted lawsuit documents show that Bitcoin asset management company NYDIG has acquired Bitcoin mining operator Coinmint for $200 million.
Mintvest Capital claims it holds an 18.2% stake in Coinmint and is seeking $36 million in compensation from NYDIG. Currently, NYDIG has declined to comment on this case.
It is worth noting that several former Coinmint clients, including Bit Digital, Gryphon Digital Mining, and CleanSpark, have announced that they will not renew their hosting contracts after 2024, which will free up approximately 110 megawatts of Bitcoin mining capacity for NYDIG.
