PANews reported on January 20 that according to Yonhap News Agency Infomax, in order to avoid the recurrence of the transaction connection delay problem caused by computer system failures encountered by various crypto exchanges in South Korea after South Korea declared a state of emergency on December 3 last year, Dunamu, the operator of the South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Upbit, as well as Bithumb and Coinone, submitted a response plan to the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) last month.
 A key measure in these plans is the addition of a special clause to the contract with Amazon Web Services (AWS) that allows for the temporary increase of server capacity when AWS cloud traffic exceeds preset limits, ensuring temporary expansion of server capacity during periods of high traffic, thereby avoiding similar system failures.
