Xiaohongshu announced the launch of nine measures to improve the fairness and transparency of its algorithms. These measures include establishing an algorithm communication mechanism, enhancing the governance system, increasing recommendation diversity, improving the account "sincerity score" system, optimizing traffic distribution mechanisms, strengthening guidance and support for positive content, reinforcing community atmosphere governance, enhancing the management of false and low-quality content, and building a community friendly to minors. In addition, Xiaohongshu has also launched an algorithm disclosure page that publicly outlines the basic principles and operational mechanisms of its algorithms.
